BlackOak Collective proudly participated in Howard University’s annual Green Job Fair, an event dedicated to connecting students with careers in sustainability, environmental justice, and climate innovation. Held in the heart of campus at the Blackburn Hilltop Lounge, the event welcomed students from all majors to explore pathways in the green workforce.
Throughout the afternoon, BlackOak engaged with students one-on-one sharing resources, building community, and highlighting opportunities within our network for internships, fellowships, and career development. The fair also featured a resume-building and mock interview workshop, offering practical tools for students looking to take the next step in their professional journey.
Our presence at the fair aligned with our ongoing mission to make environmental careers more accessible, inclusive, and reflective of Black excellence.
