In the past six years, Summit Ridge Energy has deployed over $1.6B USD into clean energy assets. With a development pipeline of more than 2 GW, Summit Ridge Energy will have more than 600 MW of PV online by the end of 2024, providing solar power to 50,000 homes and businesses.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Summit Ridge Energy’s brand and projects.
  • Serve as brand champion by reviewing and ensuring all materials adhere to the Summit Ridge brand style and communications guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain an SRE projects database, gathering input from Business Development, Project Finance, and Operations to support the generation of project cut sheets and fuel content for various materials and channels.
  • Build and maintain a central Marketing & Communications Resource Library on our Intranet site, including photos, videos, logos, project data, marketing templates, and more, to provide easy access across the organization.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, photo/video shoots, sponsorships, and industry conferences, developing and maintaining staff briefing documents, to enhance Summit Ridge Energy’s presence and reputation.
  • Create draft/proofread content (copy and images) for various marketing and communications channels and materials, including website, social media, PPT presentations, marketing collateral, internal newsletter, and email campaigns; develop summary/analytics reports (as needed in addition to agency).
  • Manage updates to the website, leveraging WordPress or coordinating with the Support Team, and produce analytics reports using Google Analytics.
  • Assist in managing external creative agencies and vendors to ensure all work is produced to brand guidelines and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate merchandise orders, draft merchandise proposal materials and decks for approval, and track inventory.
  • Organize and track all related marketing and communications activities in a central document, including events, awards, social media posts, PR activities, etc.
  • Track all expenses for the marketing department and coordinate payment with the Accounting team; maintain a filing system for all contracts/invoices.
  • Stay informed about industry and marketing trends, best practices, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.

Required Skills/Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields, with an interest in renewable energy or the sustainability sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content for a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Canva / design tools, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Constant Contact is helpful but not required.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
