Position Title: Administrative Associate, Sol Systems

Sol Systems is seeking an Administrative Associate to provide executive support to our CEO and oversee office management and front desk duties. This role will focus on assisting our CEO with various duties as well as coordinating administrative functions for our office to ensure that our team is operating as efficiently and productively as possible. This person should be resourceful and well-organized, while handling all aspects of executive and administrative support. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the solar energy industry and work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries for the CEO. Oversee CEO calendar management and complete monthly expense reports.
  • Administrative support for Executives and Board of Directors.
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal and external meetings and assist with executing ad-hoc requests for the team.
  • Ensure office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems and managing vendor relationships
  • Oversee weekly supplies and company lunches.
  • Support Accounting with invoice scanning.
  • General office management and support.

Skills and Attributes 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized individual with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with the highest degree of integrity
  • Strong interest in the solar industry or renewable energy

Location & Hours

This is a full-time role and will be based in our Washington, DC office.
