Virginia Organizing: Virginia Organizing Community College Fellowship Program

Organization: Virginia Organizing

Point of Contact at Virginia Organizing: Brian Johns

It’s that time again! We’re accepting applications for our Spring 2026 Community College Fellowship Program. Through the program, we are offering part-time, paid fellowships for community college students to engage in community organizing work. Our organizing training curriculum will focus on the intersection of grassroots organizing, political education, and racial and economic justice.

This will be a valuable opportunity to train on issues like a lack of access to resources, difficulties with for-profit health systems, managed care organization (MCO) issues, language access issues, and more.

Can university students apply? Yes! While community college students are considered first, we accept applications from all undergraduate college students!

For questions, please contact me at [email protected] or reply to this email.

We can’t wait to keep building power alongside students who want to make a difference in their communities!
