Job Board Postings

• $1,500 for the year (1-2 posts per month)
• $3,000 for the year (2 posts/month)

Event Sponsorship

We offer three tiers of event sponsorship, including but not limited to:

Become a Title, Feature, or Contributing Event Sponsor
• Title Sponsorship ($7,500 in-person/$3,500 virtual), at this level sponsors serve as co-host of the event (including event design and planning), prominent logo placement on promotional materials and social media assets, a speaking opportunity during the event, and networking access with BlackOak membership

• Featured Sponsorship ($5,000 in-person/$2,500 virtual), which includes logo placement on materials and social media, plus an invitation to the event without co-hosting or speaking at the event

• Contributor Sponsorship ($3,000 in-person/$1,500 virtual), which includes logo placement on materials and social media but no event invitation

Upcoming BlackOak Events

• DC Climate Week (April) - BlackOak is a co-host for this event and will host an entire day of programming at the event including a panel and a sustainable fashion show.

• 5th Anniversary Celebration (Sept) - Taking place during Congressional Black Caucus Week, this event will celebrate 5 years of BlackOak’s existence, and foster much needed joy and community for our members, partners, and staff.

• BlackOak Network Event (Quarterly) - We host quarterly events (ex. site visits, educational seminars, volunteer opportunity, networking happy hour) exclusively for BlackOak members to network and learn more about our organization’s and our partner’s offerings.

Professional Development Programming

Engage our members

Supercharge Black environmental career development by implementing a professional development program:

• Office Hours: Engage BlackOak members through personalized office hours where they can seek job application assistance, mentorship, and networking opportunities with partners and members — $ 1,500.

• Educational Seminar: Provide BlackOak members with insight into career paths at your organization or company through the lens of Black professionals through a co-hosted event — $2,500 (virtual) or $5,000 (in person).

• Green Gateways Program: Our Green Gateways Program engages HBCU students in the DMV region through in-person campus visits. The goal of this program is to spread awareness to the incoming wave of Black professionals about environmental careers, required skills, and networking tools – $5,000.

• Conference Sponsorship: Contribute to our Conference Sponsorship Fund to support BlackOak staff and members' attendance at industry-relevant conferences while also fueling BlackOak’s business development efforts (ex. Grist WBUR Festival, NYC Climate Week) — $1,500 to support one staff/member; $3,000 to support two.
